Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use Absenca, including people who use assistive technology. This statement covers absenca.com and the Absenca web app.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Absenca has not had an independent accessibility audit, so we do not claim full conformance.
What we do
We build on accessible interface components that support keyboard use and screen readers, label form fields, and support light and dark themes and browser zoom.
Gaps we know about
- The team calendar is a dense grid that is hard to use with a screen reader and on small screens.
- Leave type colours are chosen by each organization's admins and may not have enough contrast.
- Charts in reports have no text alternative beyond the figures shown with them.
- PDF exports are not tagged for assistive technology.
Feedback and contact
