How PTO accrual works in Absenca
You set the entitlement and how it accrues — for example, 1.67 days a month, or a fixed amount each pay period — and Absenca credits it automatically. New hires are pro-rated from their start date, and leavers stop accruing on their last day, so nobody ends up over- or under-paid.
Balances always reflect accrued-to-date plus carry-over minus what's booked, so the number an employee sees is the number they can actually take.
